But did you know that you can use it in your cooking as well? It’s an excellent ingredient for sweet, boozy desserts. It’s a great way to help use up an open bottle (if you haven’t managed to drink it all yourself, lol).

Answers To Your Most Frequently Asked Questions
I am pleased to report that you sure can drink Baileys straight if you wish to!
However, it is quite high in alcohol volume, specifically 17% ABV (alcohol by volume), which is way more than beer, lager, and even wine. So you may want to add a mixer if you’re not used to that level of alcohol.
That said, it’s considerably lower in alcohol than a lot of other spirits, such as whiskey, vodka, rum or gin, which are about 40% ABV. So it’s safer to drink Baileys straight than a lot of other spirits.
Bailey’s Irish Cream is, as the name implies, a cream-based liqueur, and for that reason, there are actually very few drinks that Baileys goes well with.
I wouldn’t recommend mixing Baileys with anything carbonated or fizzy. But mixing it with flat drinks often works well, such as in coffee drinks and frappés.
I would argue that the best mixer for Baileys Irish Cream is ice. As the ice melts, it does not interfere with the delicious taste of the Baileys.
Don’t worry if you don’t have room for Baileys in your refrigerator – it doesn’t need to be stored or served chilled.
