This recipe makes about 4 cups of hummus, enough to serve 8 hungry people.
Add your 2 cans of drained chickpeas, a quarter of a cup of lemon juice, 2 cloves of your garlic, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a half cup of tahini into a food processor of sorts.
Blend this until it roughly forms a silky smooth paste. Add another tablespoon of the olive oil and blend again.
If you want to add some flavor, stir in 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder.
