Join us as we guide you through the very best fall drinks to order at Starbucks this season (see also ‘27 Recipes To Bring Starbucks To Your Home‘).

From sweet pumpkin to apple-cinnamon flavors, we have something to suit all tastes in today’s delicious list.

Top Fall Drinks To Order At Starbucks

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte

We start with an old classic and a favorite that outsells most other drinks at Starbucks every year.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is made with spice pumpkin syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves to create a drink that tastes like fall.

This drink has been on the menu for 19 years and has become the coffee chain’s most popular seasonal beverage ever.

When prepared, steamed milk and fresh espresso are added to the pumpkin syrup, creating a hot drink, perfect for fall days and nights.

You can opt for an iced pumpkin spice latte, too, as we know some regions may still be sweltering in the remaining summer heat.

Whatever one you choose, though, we recommend adding some whipped cream on top, and some pumpkin pie spice because you deserve a treat.

2. Caramel Apple Spice

Starbucks is renowned for creating some iconic drinks, and their Caramel Apple Spice may be a new one to add to that list.

If you’re sitting outdoors with friends and family, this drink is perfect to huddle up around a campfire and relax.

Made with pressed apple juice, this caramel apple spice is then sweetened with cinnamon syrup (that magic fall ingredient) and topped with a caramel sauce that has the best buttery texture you could ever want.

One sip of this and it tastes like you’re biting into a fresh slice of warm apple pie.

Add a dollop of whipped cream on top and you have yourself the perfect fall beverage.

If you have never tried this hidden gem before, this is the year to treat yourself.

3. Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

Sometimes fall can be hot. In that case, a hot beverage may not be the best choice. Luckily, Starbucks have you covered with this Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

Typically sweetened with vanilla syrup, you can opt for pumpkin spice syrup instead if you prefer.

The drink is topped with a cream cold foam that is pumpkin infused, giving it that finishing touch of fall.

This cold brew was released in 2019 and has been a popular choice on the Starbucks menu every year since.

This is not only because of its delicious taste, however.

Its orange color is a true delight to look at and is perfect against a backdrop of crispy, autumnal leaves.

If you want the biggest burst of flavors from this drink, we suggest sipping from the cream sitting on top.

The pumpkin flavor will gradually slip through until exploding to life!

4. Apple Crisp Macchiato

Now for Starbucks’ latest offering on their fall menu – the Apple Crisp Macchiato.

As well as having a delightful name, this beverage could give the reigning fall champion, the Pumpkin Spice Latte, a run for its money in terms of popularity.

Before you even take a sip, the aroma of this macchiato is truly wonderful.

It smells somewhat like candy and will certainly draw in anyone with a sweet tooth.

As for its flavor, a combination of apple, cinnamon, and caramel shines through, resulting in something that tastes almost like an apple pie.

The apple crisp macchiato unsurprisingly has a stronger espresso taste to it, but its warm, cozy flavors within still burst through.

Whether it’s a crisp fall day or the rain is falling heavily, Starbucks’ apple crisp macchiato is the ideal drink.

5. Chai Tea Latte

It’s not all about coffee at Starbucks. Its Chai Tea Latte is a popular drink that goes down well year after year.

Best of all, there are many variations of this drink from ice-cold chai tea lattes, to skinny chai tea lattes, and even dirty chai tea lattes (with a shot of espresso).

Infused with black tea, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom, this beverage has a strong chai tea concentrate taste to it.

And, being a permanent member of Starbucks’ menu, this chai tea latte has proven to be one of the tastiest every single year.

If you want it to be a bit sweeter, add some vanilla syrup into the mix.

You won’t regret it! Ask the barista nicely and they can even substitute the water for apple juice to pair the spices of this latte beautifully.

6. Pumpkin Spice Macchiato

Did you know that Starbucks has secret items that are not found on its menus?

Well, this Pumpkin Spice Macchiato is one of them and, although not always available, it’s worth asking.

Most of the time, the baristas will be happy to make it for you!

Although called a pumpkin spice macchiato, this drink is essentially a skinny caramel macchiato but with an extra pump of pumpkin sauce added to the mix.

Also included are two pumps of vanilla (you can also opt for sugar-free vanilla, too).

And, don’t be afraid to ask for alterations to your drink.

You can ask for half water and half milk with a pumpkin spice topping to give the beverage that extra fall flavor.

The caramel and pumpkin flavors are a dream combo! Together, they produce a warm and cozy taste that is perfect for fall.

Whether you want a drink to start a busy day or you just want to relax in front of the fire at home with a movie, this pumpkin spice macchiato is one you must try this fall.

7. Cinnamon Dolce Latte

When you take your first sip of a Cinnamon Dolce Latte, you will find that it is very similar to a vanilla latte in terms of taste.

But, when that dolce syrup is added to the drink, things take a delicious turn.

Not only do you taste the cinnamon, but hints of brown sugar also shine through.

This coffee tends to have a great deal more caffeine than other lattes on the menu.

With every 12 ounces of espresso, the barista gives you a shot of caffeine. For the iced version, you get two shots!

Unlike most drinks on this list, this cinnamon dolce latte is not a seasonal drink.

It is typically available all year round, but because of its cinnamon flavoring, it is best enjoyed on a cold fall day with the leaves flailing around you.

8. Pumpkin Spice Flat White

Combining steamed whole milk, a latte art dot, and two ristretto shots, Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Flat White is a take on an Australian classic.

But, with the addition of pumpkin spice, this flat white becomes the ideal drink as the days get colder.

This flat white contains less sugar than Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte, meaning it is the healthier option of the two.

With less sugar, we find that the pumpkin flavor tends to be stronger and heavier, too. You could argue that it tastes more like pumpkin filling!

As for this drink’s consistency, it’s similar to “nog” drinks that are so popular during this time of year.

And, this flat white owes much of its popularity to its sweetness.

Yes, it may be a little too sweet for some taste buds, but if you’re looking for that burst of pumpkin flavor this fall, the pumpkin spice flat white will not let you down.

9. Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino

So, as you can see from this list, fall is all about pumpkin flavors.

And, we continue this trend with this nostalgic, fresh-tasting Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino.

And, if you want something that tasted very “pumpkin-y,” then this is the drink for you!

Even if you’re not usually a fan of Frappuccino, we highly recommend this beverage.

We can easily fall into a routine of ordering the same drinks, time after time, at Starbucks.

So, today, change things up with this incredible cool-tasting drink.

Even if the weather is a little chilly or dull out, this Frappuccino will easily brighten your day.

It’s definitely one of our favorites!

Fall Drinks We Want Starbucks To Bring Back

Some drinks are only on the Starbucks’ menu for a limited time. And, some of our personal favorites are not even served anymore.

That is why we want to make a stand and bring back some of Starbucks’ best fall drinks (in our opinion).

Here are a few that need to reappear next year. Who knows? If you ask a barista, they may be able to make one of them for you!

10. Maple Pecan Latte

We don’t know why this drink was taken off the menu at Starbucks but, for a brief, magical time in 2017, the Maple Pecan Latte was a joy to behold (and taste).

Alongside another popular fall drink, the Maple Macchiato, this maple pecan latte was loaded with nutty brown butter, hints of maple syrup, and, of course, pecans.

But, it was the crunchy sugar afloat the latte’s foam head that was the star of the show.

Whilst there have been talks of the maple pecan latte relaunching in the U.S., we are still yet to see it as of 2022.

But, if you’re ever in Canada, you’ll be able to order it with no trouble. Let’s hope for a return in 2023!

11. Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino

For many, the Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino was their favorite drink during fall.

But, all good things must come to an end, including this divine Frappuccino.

Even in the midst of winter, the salted, caramel goodness of this beverage brought light to otherwise, dark, rainy days.

With the same ingredients as its latte equivalent, this Frappuccino differed with the addition of its Frappuccino blend coffee instead of espresso.

It also came with a Frappuccino base that produced a wondrous, silky texture.

Atop this majestic drink were the options of having caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a dose of turbinado sugar and/or sea salt.

Together, these ingredients made one of the tastiest fall drinks ever to grace the Starbucks menu.

Because it’s not available anymore, though, we recommend getting the next best thing – the pumpkin spice Frappuccino.

12. Salted Caramel Mocha Latte

2021 saw the end of this iconic fall drink.

Again, we do not know why Starbucks axed the Salted caramel Mocha Latte, but all we can do is hope and pray it returns in 2023!

More a dessert than an actual drink, the salted caramel mocha latte came with mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup, helping it achieve that iconic flavor that was all too brief to enjoy.

With a dash of espresso thrown into the mix, this mocha latte had a tinge of bitterness, but alongside the steamed thinned milk against its sugary base, the drink was delicious.

Similar to this was the salted caramel hot chocolate, dosed with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.

Also like a liquid dessert, this was like the mocha but without the espresso. All we know is that we want both back!

Here are some fall drinks that may be available in a Starbucks near you.

These are not available on the official menu, so you can not order them by their name. Instead, you can order the ingredients.

13. Witches Brew Frappuccino

14. Jack Skellington Frappuccino

As the name suggests, this is the perfect secret menu item to enjoy around Halloween. Simply order:
