  1. Your potatoes will now be blanched and you can put them into a freezer-friendly bag. 

Can You Freeze Raw Sweet Potatoes?

It’s strongly recommended that you don’t freeze raw sweet potatoes.

This is because when they are raw, they have high water content. Putting them in the freezer raw can increase the chances and risk of your potatoes getting freezer burn, as well as risking them turning mushy once they are thawed.
