After putting the dough into the refrigerator overnight, you’ll pull out the dough about 30 minutes ahead of baking time and roll it into balls.

Then, bake off the cookies and enjoy immediately. Easily doubled for a crowd. 

2. Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are made with only three ingredients: flour, cocoa powder and salt.

They’re also very easy to make. Just mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl, then add the wet ingredients (butter, egg yolks and vanilla) and stir until everything is combined.

Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes.

This recipe makes bite-sized brownies that are perfect for parties. Combine melted unsalted butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

Whisk well. Sift in flour, cocoa powder and baking soda; whisk well. Fold in chopped nuts. Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for12 to 14 minutes or until set. Let cool slightly before serving.

Coconut cream pies are always refreshing. And these coconut cream pies are even better because they’re gluten free. All you need is some graham cracker crust, canned coconut milk, condensed milk and coconut flakes.

Mix the coconut milk and condensed milk together and pour into the graham cracker crust.

Sprinkle with coconut flakes and refrigerate for at least3 hours. Serve topped with whipped cream.

5. Rainbow Rice Cereal Treat Pops

These colourful treats are easy to make and fun to eat! They’re perfect for kids’ parties and bake sales.

They don’t melt like ice cream, so you can give them away without worry. Mix together 1 cup marshmallow creme, 2 cups puffed rice cereal

Add food colouring according to desired colours. Pour into small candy moulds or mini muffin tins. Let sit overnight.

Remove from mould and store in an airtight container.

6. Sugar-Free Vanilla Cupcakes

To make this cake, simply mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add eggs, oil and vanilla; stir well; and fold in chocolate chips.

Bake in muffin cups for about 20 minutes, or bake in a greased and floured 12-cup Bun pan for 40 minutes. Cool completely, dust with powdered sugar and serve.

  • 1 8oz tub cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan; set aside. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt just until combined. Fold in the sour cream. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 30 minutes or until centre is almost set. Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack.

  • 1 cup flour

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Add this to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream

  • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine cream and ice cream; beat well.

Add cookie crumbs and mix well. Spread mixture evenly in prepared pan. Top with chocolate pieces.

Bake 20 minutes or until edges start to brown slightly. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes. Turn out onto a cutting board. Cut into squares and serve warm.

This flamingo cake is easy to assemble and looks adorable perched atop a cupcake stand or cake pedestal. 

Use a simple 9×13-inch round cake pan. To decorate the cake, you’ll just need some fondant icing, chocolate chips, sprinkles, candy eyes, and a few other small items.

Here’s what you do:

1. Make the Fondant Icing

Start by making the fondant icing. In a medium bowl, combine the powdered sugar, water, and food colouring. Stir well until there are no lumps left.

Then add the melted butter and stir again until smooth. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set aside while you prep the rest of the ingredients.

2. Prepare the Chocolate Chips

In a large microwave-safe glass measuring cup, melt the white chocolate chips on high power in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each interval.

Once completely melted, transfer the mixture into a small resealable bag. Set aside to cool slightly.

This rainbow sprinkle anti-gravity cake looks just like a giant bowl of sprinkles, except there’s no way it could actually fall down. If you want to try making it yourself, here’s how to do it!

First things first, let’s start preparing our ingredients. We’ll need some baking paper, icing sugar, food colouring, and a mixing bowl.

You’re welcome to use whatever colours you prefer, but I used pink, purple, green, blue, yellow, orange, and red.

Add Food Colouring,  mix Up the Batter, add half of the icing sugar mixture to the mixing bowl then add the rest of the icing sugar mixture and stir well to combine. Pour Into the Jar

Once everything is mixed up, pour the batter into the jar and place it somewhere where it can dry overnight. Once it’s completely dried, open the lid and enjoy!

14. Rice Krispies Treat Cake

This recipe combines two childhood favourites into one decadent dessert. You don’t even have to bake it; you can just use pre-made springform pan liners and pop it in the freezer overnight. 

  • 2 cups marshmallow creme
  • 3 large eggs plus 4 egg whites
  • ¼ cup shortening
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 (12 oz.) package Rice Krispies cereal, divided
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

In a medium bowl, whisk together marshmallow creme, eggs, shortening, salt, and vanilla until smooth. Add half of the cereal and mix well.

Fold in the remaining cereal. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

15. Birthday Brownies

These decadent and fudgier brownies are topped with creamy cheesecake frosting and sprinkled with rainbow sprinkles.

This recipe makes enough for 12 servings. You can easily double it!


  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder

Mix all the ingredients and bake for 20 minutes. Delicious!

16. Root Beer Floats

This is an unusual choice but works at a spa birthday drink/dessert 

To make a root beer float, fill a tall glass halfway with crushed ice. Pour one part root beer into the bottom of the glass and add three parts soda.

Top off with whipped cream and a cherry. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of lemon.

17. Hamburger Cake

This hamburger cake may look really fancy, but it actually uses just five basic ingredients —

To make the burgers, start by cutting out round circles of cake. Use a small cookie cutter to cut each circle in half, making four total shapes. Bake the cakes according to package directions.

Next, use a toothpick to poke holes all over the bottom of one cake layer. Place another cooled cake layer on top and press down lightly. Repeat with the remaining two cake layers.

Now, prepare the burger patties. Cut a piece of parchment paper large enough to cover the surface area of a 9 x 13–inch pan. Spray it generously with cooking spray.

Place one cake layer on top of the parchment paper inside the prepared pan. Spread about 2 tablespoons of frosting evenly across the top of the cake layer.

Top with another cake layer and repeat with the frosting and second cake layer.

Cover the entire cake with plastic wrap and place heavy objects such as canned goods or books on top to weigh it down. Refrigerate overnight.

18. Chocolate Drip Cake

If you want something beautiful without much effort, look no further than this delicious chocolate drip cake. 

Start by making a basic vanilla sponge cake. Then, once it’s cooled, you pour some chocolate pudding over it. Next, you spread the pudding around the edges of the cake so that it covers the entire thing.

Finally, add the rest of the frosting and use a knife to draw lines across the top of the cake, creating a pattern.

When you cut into the cake, you’ll see that there are little drops of chocolate running down the sides.

19. Pineapple Dream Cake

If you’re looking for something sweet, but don’t want to go too heavy on the calories, try this pineapple dream cake.

This recipe is low in fat and high in fibre, making it perfect for a healthy dessert option.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice


Use an 8-inch square pan and line bottom with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla; beat well.

Sift together dry ingredients; stir into egg mixture until smooth.

Fold in nuts and pineapple. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or until golden brown. 

20. Blueberry Pancakes Cake
